Position Overview:
- Experience the thrill of working in a dynamic environment with 7 on/7 off shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional ICU coverage, including ventilator management, to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Offer cross cover, code, rapid response, and admissions services to meet the diverse needs of patients.
- Engage in tele-hospitalist coverage, including admissions for other Critical Access Hospitals in the region, to foster collaboration and excellence.
- Contribute to hospital-based research, quality, and clinical initiatives to drive innovation and improvement.
Facilities and Resources:
- Work in a state-of-the-art 30-bed hospital, certified as a Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready facility.
- Access comprehensive laboratory services, radiology services, including MRI and CT, and an on-campus multi-specialty clinic with numerous specialties.
Requirements:
- Possess BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with strong interest and experience in hospital-based care (mentorship available).
Service Area:
Cover a 36,000 service area with a population of 9,400 in Virginia.
