Restoration Repair Estimator

Summit Restoration and Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced restoration repair Estimator to join the team. This is not an entry level estimating position. Xactimate experience is required to be considered. Experience working in Symbility is also desired but not required.

You will estimate all sizes of losses but will specialize in larger losses. Large losses may be whole houses, multiple units at apartment or condo communities or commercial buildings. Losses could be caused by floods, fire, vehicle impact, storm damage, etc.

Responsibilities and Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for estimating commercial and residential reconstruction projects in Xactimate and Symbility, most will be $75k and up but you could also work on smaller projects
• Build relationships with our customers through education and regular communication
• Perform inspections, sketch, and photograph projects.
• Negotiate restoration services and insurance claim settlements with insurance adjusters
• Sell/obtain approvals for projects and move them forward to production
• Process change orders and supplements as necessary and in a timely manner. See supplements through to approval
• Review files with Project Managers before billing for accuracy
• Be a leader that is self-motivated, responsible, proactive, a team player
• Maintain a high level of customer service and follow through on projects as they transition into production
• As a 24/7 emergency service company participation in the on call rotation is expected
• Be a part of the sales process - build relationships with new and existing customers

Employment Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and clean DMV record required

Most of the time this is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with afterhours work as your workload dictates. However, since we are a 24/7 emergency services company, you may be asked to support the team outside of traditional working hours as needed.
