What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Integration Specialist - Hotel Systems position at Summit Security Door & Lock?
-Hotel Lock System Installer – Field Integrator
We’re looking for a motivated, capable field technician who’s ready to do accurate work, grow with a company, and help develop something greater. Would prefer to grow with the same people.
This role involves travel, responsibility, and working directly with hotel owners and staff to install lock systems and software platforms with minimal disruption to facility processes.
If you take pride in clean work, clear communication, and delivery a personal responsibility to every client — we might be a good fit.
-What You’ll Be Doing
Installing hotel room locks (battery-powered, wireless systems) and low-voltage door perimeter systems
Setting up and troubleshooting hotel software platforms
Coordinating with hotel ownership, management and staff, often in upscale properties — professionalism is paramount
Traveling to job sites (mostly within 6 hours, but occasionally nationwide), staying 3–5 nights per trip (typically weekdays, goal is typically 3)
Communicating with international contacts
Documenting work and communicating clearly with our team and clients on proper forms
-Who You Are
Experienced in hands-on field work — smart locks, access systems, structured cabling, or smart home gear is a plus. Hotel or property maintenance applies heavily as well.
Comfortable talking with clients and working as a team, or independently on-site
Professional appearance, calm under pressure, and able to represent all affiliated companies well
Tech-comfortable: You can install software, troubleshoot a network, and follow a checklist. Install and trouble shoot hotel locks, doors and access systems. We will train to include all items associated, experience in some is preferred.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and able to pass a background check
Willing to travel regularly and stay organized while on the road
-Where This Is Going - This isn’t a dead-end install job. We want someone who can grow into a leadership role — helping shape how our systems run and eventually opening and leading multiple departments.
If you’re entrepreneurial and solution-driven, we’ll give you room to build something.
-Currently paid weekly based on project load, ability and speed.
Ranging from $800-$1600 typically, but is not capped. As the company develops this will increase.
-Schedule
Travel-based, generally Monday–Friday
Projects vary week to week — some light, some stacked — all in the same ball park
If you’re ready to travel to different locations, get out in the field, and help us build something larger than can be done individually, we are potentially a good fit.
We move quickly and we’ll reach out right away.
