Lead ASME Code Vessel Welder Responsibilities:
- Lead vessel welding projects, adhering to ASME codes and standards
- Perform high-quality vessel welding using various welding processes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately
- Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring optimal parameters and settings
- Inspect welds for quality assurance, maintaining compliance with industry standards
- Supervise and guide a team of welders, providing mentorship and support
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to meet project objectives
- Utilize company-provided truck for transportation to project sites
Lead ASME Code Vessel Welder Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ASME Code Vessel Welder, with leadership experience
- Expertise in vessel welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Competency in setting up and operating welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
- Extensive knowledge of ASME codes and standards related to vessel welding
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Company truck provided for transportation
