Earthwork Foreman

Summit Skilled Solutions is currently hiring LOCAL Earthwork Foremen for aDirect Hire position working in Sioux Falls, SD. Ideal candidates will need a minimum of 5 years earthwork experience and a minimum of 3 years Foreman or Supervisory experience overseeing and coordinating earthwork projects. This is for local commuters only. No per diem is available. M-F 7am-6pm

Earthwork Foreman Qualifications:

• Must live locally to Sioux Falls, SD
• Must be able to work M-F 7am-6pm
• Minimum of 5 years earthwork exp
• Minimum of 3 years as an earthwork Foreman or Supervisor
• Advanced knowledge of construction procedures and equipment
• Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints and construction plans
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to problem-solve and fix routine errors
• In-depth knowledge of safety guidelines and best practices

Earthwork Foreman Job Scope:

• Taking measurements and sizes before construction begins
• Starting the day with a meeting to discuss daily activities and planning
• Informing the team of activities and starting the process
• Recording completed work to check if production targets are met
• Scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the work of all site operatives
• Ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget
• Managing equipment and materials required

Earthwork Foreman Compensation/Benefits

• $33-$40/hr based on experience
• Paid weekly via direct deposit
• Health insurance after 60 days
• 401K after 1 year
• 2 weeks PTO after one year
• Potential for bonuses depending on profitability and time in service
