What are the responsibilities and job description for the Excavator Operator position at Summit Skilled Solutions?
Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring local Excavator Operators with experience in the oil & gas industry for a compressor station project in Sutersville, PA starting asap. Ideal candidates will live within a commutable distance to Sutersville, PA and be able to commute to various other jobs in the area as needed. CERTIFIED operators are preferred and will take precedence over those without. Must be willing to perform other duties outside the cab as needed. Indefinite work for reliable, skilled operators. MUST HAVE PEC/Safeland card (in your possession). Locals only- no per diem available.
Excavator Operator Duties
- Dig holes for underground piping and relocate dirt
- Move rocks or other debris
- Load soil and debris into dump truck for removal
Excavator Operator Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years exp operating an excavator
- Certification preferred
- Some oil & gas experience
- PEC/Safeland card required
- MUST be able and willing to help out as needed outside of the cab
- MUST be PROFICIENT with manual controls
- MUST have standard PPE including Fire Retardant Clothing
Heavy Equipment Operator Compensation/Benefits
- $25-$30/hr BOE
