Position Overview:
Seeking dedicated and reliable Machine Operators to join our fast-paced team in a food production facility!
In this role, you will ensure the efficient operation of our production equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Candidates with experience in machine operation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Set up machines prior to production runs, ensuring proper calibration and configuration.
- Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Document production activities and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Report any food safety concerns and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and production documents.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing production priorities.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and squatting (up to 13 hours).
- Ability to sit and perform work at a desk or on a computer.
- Continuous use of arms, wrists, and hands (including grasping and squeezing) throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Capability to maneuver full drums of chemicals using a dolly or forklift.
