Job Overview
The Director of Nursing (DON) for a busy, multi-specialty ASC who is under new ownership. The DON will serve as a leader in supervising and directing the clinical operations of the surgery center. Responsible for oversight of patient care in all clinical areas of the surgery center according to its policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives assuring a safe environment for both patients and employees. Coordinates and directs patient care and related activities of the facility according to accepted standards set forth by AAAHC accreditation and to improve quality of care. Shares responsibilities for the financial activities of the facility with the CEO, and other pertinent departments. The DON will oversee patient scheduling and other administrative roles. Analyzes and evaluates efficiencies and cost effectiveness such as OR utilization and case costing. Works closely with medical staff in coordinating patient care-services. Maintains employee education records, electronic surgical records, and quality measures. The DON will manage clinical operations, uphold compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a culture of excellence among the clinical and support team. This leadership position requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in nursing administration, OR experience and a strong management approach to teamwork.
Requirements
Graduate of accredited school of nursing, RN with active NV state license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency as circulating RN, and pre-op and PACU experience. Minimum of two years supervisory experience required, evidence of leadership qualities, strong ethical and moral character, language skills adequate for high-level written, excellent interpersonal, and telephone communication. Two years minimum of ASC experience preferred in an ASC setting in leadership role. Strong computer skills, EHR experience, and leadership qualities who can lead a team to daily excellence in a fun and structured environment.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
