Essential Job Functions
Working Conditions:
This position works in a surgical hospital environment. Potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids and other blood borne pathogens, as well as potential for exposure to hazardous substances. Constant interaction with co-workers, patients, vendors and general public, which may involve individuals who are angry, upset or ill.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Additionally, requires the ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. Some bending, stooping squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must have visual acuity and manual dexterity to assist with procedures, perform and interpret lab results, and interface with the computer and its operating systems. Must have auditory acuity to effectively interact with patients and public via direct and indirect communication.

Essential Job Functions
- Perform inpatient and outpatient X-rays as ordered by physicians
- Perform portable X-rays
- Operate C-arm for surgical cases
- Follow radiation safety guidelines for self, patients, and other staff
- Utilize PACs system
- Provides innovative input into the development of the office environments and its processes

- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Current licensure
- CPR certification
- Ability to multitask
- Can interface with computers effectively
- Learns new concepts and procedures quickly
- Excellent organizational skills

- Ability to manage time and appropriately prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, providers, patients and others with in a professional and courteous manner
- Punctuality
- Previous medical office or hospital experience
- Pervious computer experience or training
