Job Title : Customer Service Representative
Shift : 5 : 30 am - 2 : 30 pm
Are you a morning person who enjoys helping others? Our hospital is looking for a Customer Service Representative to check in surgery patients and provide a welcoming experience at the start of their healthcare journey.
Essential Job Functions :
- Greets and registers patients arriving to the facility.
- Verifies the completeness of patients' initial encounter form, especially demographics, primary care physician and insurance information. Enters data into the computer(s).
- Accepts payments and prepares receipt for patient.
- Answers incoming telephone calls, directs calls, or provides necessary information.
- Prepares reports as requested.
- Performs other appropriate duties as requested by supervisors.
- Establishes and maintains professional contacts
- Maintains patient and Company confidentiality at all times
- Ability to troubleshoot / problem solve issues
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to multi-task
