Overview of Role:
The Senior Manager, FP&A Corporate Consolidations will provide support to the Finance organization. This role will coordinate consolidation of the monthly financials, latest estimate and budgets as well as all supporting schedules and reporting needs for the department. Deadline adherence and time management skills will be key to the success of this role.
Role and Responsibilities:
Consolidations & Reporting
- Consolidation and analysis of month end financials, forecasts, budgets, supporting schedules, bridges and ad hoc reporting
- Maintain & Understand Analyst Consensus models
- Identify and act on opportunities to automate, streamline and improve reporting, budgeting and operational processes
- Lead projects aimed at improving Planful system usability and the efficiency of financial reporting
- Ad-hoc analyses and project management as needed
- Work closely with HR on headcount planning/reporting
Technical
- Strong Excel modeling skills
- Strong PowerPoint skills and creating executive packages
- All other duties as assigned
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- A minimum of 8 years of life science industry experience
- Demonstratable experience of working within a fast-paced finance function
- Strong critical thinking skills and understanding of budgeting, planning and projection processes
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience, with the ability to manipulate and interpret key financial data
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstratable experience of prioritizing workload and managing multiple tight deadlines effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong internal and external working relationships, and the confidence to challenge information constructively
- Enthusiastic team player with an approachable manner and an ability to engage with colleagues across the business with a constructive and can-do attitude to deliver the successful completion of team outputs within required deadlines
The pay range for this role is $160,000-$180,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable variable compensation.
