In 2021, Summit acquired a Seattle-area service center, which repairs and refinishes all makes and models of medium, heavy duty, specialty, and fleet vehicles.
The NetSuite Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the NetSuite ERP system to support business operations, reporting, and integrations. This role will oversee system configurations, customizations, and process improvements while ensuring data accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in NetSuite modules, including CPQ, BOM, MRP, financials, and order management, as well as experience integrating third-party applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
NetSuite System Management & Configuration
- Manage and maintain the NetSuite system, including user setup, roles, permissions, and configurations, with periodic reviews and adjustments.
- Manage and maintain customizations, custom objects, third-party tools/applications, and new NetSuite functionality based on evolving business needs.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining configurations and customizations to align with operational and strategic goals.
- Perform regular system audits to identify areas for improvement, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Develop strategies and processes to stay up to date with Health Check items and NetSuite system updates.
Data Management, Reporting, & Process Optimization
- Create and edit dashboards, saved searches, reports, workflows, KPIs, and forms.
- Develop and edit complex searches and reports, including scheduling and automatic distribution to recipients.
- Work with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness in NetSuite.
- Support financial reporting, including invoice tracking, material and labor cost analysis, and gross profit calculations.
- Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and CPQ modules to optimize production and quoting processes.
- Assist in leading system upgrades and updates, coordinating with internal and external teams.
System Integrations & Enhancements
- Manage integrations between NetSuite and other business systems, including third-party tools such as QuickBooks, Paylocity, and other API-driven applications.
- Oversee NetSuite integration project, ensuring seamless data transfer and system compatibility.
- Configure and manage custom NetSuite fields to align with business processes and enhance data tracking across departments.
Training, Support, & Change Management
- Provide ongoing training and support to end-users on NetSuite functionalities and best practices.
- Act as the point of contact for NetSuite-related issues, troubleshooting system errors, and resolving user concerns.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of system improvements and updates.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to enhance system reliability, security, and performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite updates, best practices, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience administering and supporting NetSuite.
- NetSuite Certification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite modules, including financials, inventory management, order management, BOM, CPQ, and MRP.
- Experience with customizations, workflows, SuiteFlow, and scripting in NetSuite a plus.
- Expertise in NetSuite reporting, saved searches, workflows, and system automation.
- Experience with API integrations and third-party system connectivity (e.g., QuickBooks, Paylocity).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Work Environment
This position is based in a typical office setting. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. The NetSuite Administrator primarily works independently at a desk but may engage in regular interactions with team members across departments. Noise levels are generally low, and the workspace is professional and collaborative. Occasional extended hours may be required during system upgrades or critical issue resolution.
Work Hours
Full-time, onsite position. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
