Landscaping Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping tasks, including landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and hardscape installation. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work. The Landscape Laborer will work collaboratively with team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance landscapes by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist in building hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Perform snow plowing duties during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Conduct regular groundskeeping activities including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and weeding.
• Maintain equipment by performing basic mechanical checks and reporting any issues.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for maintaining equipment effectively.
• A strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape design and maintenance.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.52 - $18.56 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
