We have an exciting opportunity open for a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator in Maumelle, AR.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facility Maintenance Coordinator manages the repairs at office facilities and/or warehouses within our designated states of operation. Duties include, but are not limited to, making small/minor repairs, overseeing and directing maintenance professionals, communicating with vendors, and providing customer service when collaborating with internal customers at the facility. Previous experience managing or supervising a maintenance team is preferred. Skills necessary for the job include leadership, diligence, and some mechanical aptitude. Additionally, maintenance coordinators will manage third-party contractors such as plumbers and electricians to accomplish maintenance tasks.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages and coordinates needed repairs for all offices and warehouses within the Summit Utility family of companies within our designated states of operation.
- Coordination of needed repairs.
- Assessment of work needed.
- Estimates repair, replacement, or renovation costs and advises department leader.
- Determines if repairs should be made in-house or completed by contractors.
- Inspect the quality of work completed by in-house or contractor and ensure work is completed to standards.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of work being completed.
- Ability to provide an oversight of the work of others and ensure achievement of objectives.
- Managing smaller capital projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or vertical construction is preferred. required.
- Or a minimum of three (3) years of facility maintenance experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Business partnering mentality with high focus on customer service
- Elevated level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and meticulous analytical capability.
- Strong competencies in forecasting and budgeting.
- Demonstrate success in consulting effectively with levels of management within the facilities dept.
- Must possess the ability to influence others without direct position power to earn credibility and trust.
- Strong ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects successfully while maintaining a steady approach and commitment to deadlines.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Oracle PBCS or SAP is a plus.
