We have an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). This role can be performed from Little Rock, AR, Fort Smith, AR or Fayetteville, AR.
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and influential advisor, aligning business operations with HR policies, practices, and objectives. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of HR functions, business strategy, and the ability to provide data-driven, dynamic HR solutions. Using HR expertise, data analysis, and organizational agility, the HRBP delivers consulting and coaching to assigned departments in support of the company’s mission, vision, values, and goals. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, proactive, and capable of building strong partnerships across the organization.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations to support recommendations for corrective actions.
- Partner proactively with business units, providing strategic HR support and innovative solutions to facilitate business objectives.
- Apply expertise in the full employee lifecycle to develop integrated, well-thought-out HR strategies.
- Identify problems, drive appropriate solutions, and deliver strong results in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate autonomously with sound judgment, making accurate assessments and recommendations aligned with HR best practices.
- Balance HR functional initiatives with ongoing employee engagement efforts, ensuring a positive workplace culture.
- Support content development and facilitate training in collaboration with the Learning & Development team.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and collaborate with the legal department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 or more years of experience in a client-facing HR Business Partner role is required.
- Experience supporting a mix of corporate and field-based roles preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong expertise across HR functions, including compliance, employment law, employee relations, talent development, compensation, benefits, diversity & inclusion, and performance management.
- Proficiency in HRBP core responsibilities such as talent strategy, workforce planning, employee engagement, collaboration, and data analytics.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, mediation, and facilitation.
- Experience conducting investigations and reporting findings (e.g., EEOC, discrimination, harassment cases).
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate outcomes in various scenarios.
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven ability to build relationships and establish credibility as a trusted HR partner.
- Discretion in handling sensitive information and ensuring appropriate communication.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to deliver timely results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
