We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Advanced Leak Detection in Maumelle or Little Rock, AR.
POSITION SUMMARY
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as Project Manager the rollout of ALD for all SUIs to support successful implementation.
- Manage the Advanced Leak Detection (ALD) program for all of SUI as the program grows.
- Coordinate the ADL Stakeholder teams in all Operating Companies.
- Manage 4 DRs and support 15 indirect and coverage personnel.
- Coordinate new vehicle coordination and mounting for Picarro equipment.
- Coordinate safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Approve contractor invoices for leak survey work.
- Support audits in a leak survey capacity.
- Manage the SAP buildout corrections and improvements consolidation for the team (1.3).
- Support SAP buildout of all of SUI (2.0).
- Monitor out-of-bound reports and address GIS issues.
- Monitor and maintain compliance schedules to ensure no out-of-compliance surveys for all of SUI.
- Coordinate a leak survey meeting across all of SUI.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong technical expertise in pipeline integrity management, including risk assessment, inspection, material properties of pipeline, material testing, repair, welding, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including PHMSA, API, ASME, NACE, and state standards.
- Experience managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
- PE and or PMP preferred.
- NACE CP certification as CP-2 or higher preferred.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma required.
- Experience in gas utility leak survey management and natural gas pipeline operations.
- Engineering degree or similar technical degree can substitute for 3 years of experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Experience managing ALD and coordinating ADL Stakeholder teams.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing contractors and approving invoices.
- Experience with SAP buildouts and corrections
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including PHMSA and local state standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
