Job description
Summit Valley Services in Amherst is looking for one day porter to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. This takes place in Westlake at one location in our cleaning area using the company vehicle. This position includes cleaning outside and inside spaces.
Position Hours :
Monday : 10 : 00 am - 6 : 30 pm
Tuesday : 10 : 00 am - 6 : 30 pm
Wednesday : 10 : 00 am - 6 : 30 pm
Thursday : 10 : 00 am - 6 : 30 pm
Friday : 10 : 00 am - 6 : 30 pm
Job Summary :
The Cleaning Professional will collect trash, refresh public restrooms, maintain offices lobbies and other daily tasks
Supervisory Responsibilities :
None.Duties / Responsibilities :
Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned propertyUses a company truck to transport cleaning suppliesRefreshes bathrooms, including toiletsPicks up and empties trash containersVacuums and cleans floorsStocks paper products and soaps in bathroomsIn commercial properties, notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills / Abilities :
Detail-oriented and thorough.Able to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and / or guests.Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.Must have regular and reliable attendance.Must have a valid driver license.Education and Experience :
Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.Qualifications :
