Responsibilities and Requirements
- Develop and implement effective processes for maintaining and preparing surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Collaborate with OR staff to ensure seamless workflow and minimize delays
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of instrument maintenance and sterilization
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in sterile processing
- Preferred qualifications include CRCST or CSPDT certification and 2-3 years experience as an Instrument Room Technician
