Job Description:
The Disclosure/Compliance Specialist will follow written procedures to identify and accurately disclose/re-disclose any and all required disclosures within a compliant time frame for multiple loan types across all states.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review incoming loan(pre and post closing) files for compliance and accuracy.
- Verify fees entered against settlement statement provided and information entered based on documentation provided (purchase contract, mortgage insurance, etc.).
- Identify and validate change of circumstances within allowable time frame.
- Disclose and re-disclose loans in accordance with state and regulatory rules.
- Communicate with loan team to obtain documentation/fees as applicable to disclosing.
- Generate accurate disclosures within mandatory time frames; maintain company-defined quality and quantity standards.
- Assist with dispositioning of cancelled/denied applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting other team members and management as needed.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Mortgage experience preferred
- Encompass experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced fluid environment
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High level of integrity and confidentiality required
