About the Role
SummitMedia seeks a Digital Content Manager to lead and execute our digital content strategy across websites, mobile apps, and social media. This role will drive audience engagement, optimize revenue opportunities, and ensure best-in-class digital experiences through data-driven strategy. Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution
- Oversee digital content across web, mobile, and social platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and business goals.
- Lead the development and implementation of editorial calendars, workflows, and approval processes to streamline content production.
- Utilize emerging trends, AI tools, and automation to optimize content delivery and audience engagement.
- Develop a comprehensive content best practices guide and SOPs to standardize and improve content quality.
Audience Growth & Engagement
Grow audiences through SEO, social media best practices, and content marketing strategies that drive traffic and conversions.Monitor audience behavior and adjust content strategy based on engagement metrics and competitive analysis.Expand video content strategy across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and live streaming.Monetization & Revenue Strategy
Partner with programming and sales teams to develop and execute revenue-generating content initiatives, such as sponsored content, ad placements, and affiliate marketing.Support e-commerce, memberships, and digital subscription models when appropriate.Data & Performance Optimization
To measure success, define and track KPIs such as website traffic, engagement rates, conversion metrics, and revenue impact.Build and refine reporting dashboards and analytics infrastructure to gain insights and improve decision-making.Research and test new digital opportunities, ensuring all initiatives are data-backed and performance-driven.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
Lead and mentor the digital content team, fostering creativity, innovation, and efficiency.Collaborate across sales, programming, marketing, and product teams to ensure digital strategies align with business objectives.Manage external vendors, content creators, and platform partners to execute large-scale digital initiatives.Requirements
3 years of experience in digital content management, digital marketing.Strong understanding of consumer-facing media businesses and revenue-generating digital strategies.Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, SEO tools, and data reporting.Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred), social media management tools, and content automation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for multimedia content.Experience managing video content strategies (YouTube, TikTok, Reels, live streaming).Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.SummitMedia is an equal opportunity employer.
