Job Summary
SummitRidge Hospital –is a place for Healing and Hope! Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adults and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens). On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at SummitRidge Hospital. SummitRidge is proud to be a teaching facility that supports local nursing students through our dedicated and tenured nursing team.
House Supervisor:
Effectively directs the activities of the inpatient units and evaluates the appropriateness and effectiveness of patient care during assigned shift or other established time frame and keeps the Chief Nursing Officer and other supervisors abreast of significant events or problems.
Plans, organizes, and assigns staff appropriately according to skill level and patient needs based on sound professional judgment and rationale. Coordinates flow of patients with Assessment Department for continuity in bed control.
Utilizes the nursing skills of assessment, diagnosis, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

Registered Nurse (RN) Minimum Qualifications:
Current license to practice nursing in state of Georgia.
Current CPR or BLS certification.
