Summitview is a private, nonprofit organization licensed by the State of California to provide a variety of mental health services to children, adults, and families. Our administrative offices, mental health services, nonpublic school, and residential treatment homes are in Placerville, CA. Placerville is in the Sierra foothills, off Hwy 50 - which is just a 30–45-minute (reverse!) commute from downtown Sacramento.

JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for the safety, direct care and supervision of youth living in one of our residential homes.
- Implements treatment plans of youth through agency approved treatment interventions.
- Ensures physical needs of the youth are being met by overseeing all aspects of daily living by overseeing nutrition, hygiene, cleanliness, health and safety.
- Dispenses and documents the use of medication of the youth in accordance with operating procedures, reports progress in medication compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring electronic health records are input accurately and timely for youth in accordance with policy and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
LOCATION:
This position is a full-time on-call position that can be scheduled to work at any of our Placerville located residential homes or our Non-Public School.
HOURLY RATE:
$19.00 – $21.00 p/hr depending on experience & education. Overtime paid after 40hrs in workweek.
BENEFITS:
Full-time positions (30hrs ) are eligible for Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefits, paid vacation, and sick time in addition to a 403b retirement plan. FSA and HSA accounts are also available.
POSITION HOURS:
Shifts are available 7 days a week and staff are able to select days and available shifts that work with their schedule. Shifts are 10hrs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health or related field OR a minimum of 2yrs of experience working with the youth population to be served.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Background Check with Live Scan fingerprinting
- Health screening and Tuberculosis (TB) test.
- COVID Vaccination with booster doses strongly suggested, but not required.
- Position requires driving so valid, unrestricted CA driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and insurability by our insurance carrier.
- Experience with or willingness to learn to drive an 8 passenger van.
Sample Shift Times:
M-F 1pm - 11pm
M-F 6:30am - 4:30pm
Saturday and Sunday 8am - 6pm
Awake Night 10pm - 8am
30-40hrs per week depending on employees' availability.
