Server

Job Summary:
Sumo Japanese Steakhouse in Russellville is seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive and efficient service to guests in a fast-paced hibachi and sushi restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and with a positive attitude
• Take food and drink orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in throughout the meal and addressing any concerns promptly
• Work closely with kitchen and sushi bar staff to ensure timely and accurate orders
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Assist with side work, restocking, and end-of-shift cleaning tasks

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
