SCHEDULE :
Dates : May 23rd, 2024 for 3 months with extension possible
Shift Details : Clinic : Tues, Thurs, Friday; 8a-5p
Call : Mon, Wednesday. 7a-3p. (Rounding, writing notes, and discharging.)
Weekends : 7a- 12p.
Can be flexible on hours.
DESCRIPTION :
Patients per day : 25
All ages ranging from 18 to geriatric. Insured, noninsured, and private pay.
Ambulatory Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery Center and Hospital
EMR : Cerner
Special procedures : Pulling chest tube, part flushes, S-P drain removal, anticoagulant bridging for perioperative. Staple / Suture removal, general knowledge, chest tube management.
Skills Required : Respiratory, GI assessments, gen knowledge, PET, CT X-rays, managing chest tubes including pulling; spirometry, multitasking.
REQUIREMENTS : Active WV license
Active DEA
Certifications BLS
Minimum 1 years of Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery experience as a PA
