SPECIALTY : PSYCHIATRY - ADULT INPATIENT
LOCATION : KANSAS (1 hour south of Kansas City)

DESCRIPTION :
- FT Inpatient 40 hrs per week (M-F, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM), NO Telehealth
- Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing. Rare call : 1-2 times per month.
- Admit and treat court-committed and forensic patients.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans per accrediting standards. Court testimonies are needed sometimes.
- Assess medical and psychiatric changes, including lab results.
- Review and update medication and treatment orders regularly.
- Complete discharge summaries promptly.
- Participate in morning meetings and treatment team discussions.
