Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and kitchen equipment by following sanitation guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash registers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order preparation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and culinary practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary for the role.
