Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety and handling, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills and a keen attention to detail.

Duties

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
• Assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and providing additional support as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Utilize basic math skills for order verification and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for order verification and cash register operations.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
