Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize seating arrangements.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication throughout service.
- Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area, including resetting tables and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant protocols and customer service best practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and customer service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
