We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic To-go Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for guests placing takeout orders, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional guest services will be key in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their takeout orders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Utilize the Aloha POS system to input orders efficiently and manage transactions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu items to provide recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
- Ensure that all to-go orders are prepared accurately and packaged securely for delivery.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while assisting guests with their inquiries or concerns.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing any issues or feedback promptly and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the takeout area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to help guests feel valued and appreciated.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest services and enhancing guest relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
