Full time - $19-22/hour plus benefits

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk with an amazing team at our Plaza Tire Service Corporate Office in Cape Girardeau, MO. This position would work with existing accounting department staff members and management.

This position requires great attention to detail, a good understanding of basic bookkeeping skills and a friendly and professional personality. Hours are typical business hours and occasional Saturday mornings. Hourly wage based on experience.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• High volume, data entry of Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Assign General Ledger codes when necessary.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and perform weekly AP check runs.
• Excel Spreadsheet work.
• Scanning of paper documents for long term storage.
• Assist stores with vendor issues as needed.
• Ordering Office Supplies for all stores.
• Various other office tasks as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5 years of bookkeeping experience is required .
• Working with large volumes of data and documents.
• Accuracy and number balancing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to work and communicate with all other positions within the company.
• Willingness to grow knowledge and skills.
