This role will include overall responsibility for work order management, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for budget management, critically analyzing vendor quotes, and making informed decisions to optimize expenses while maintaining a high level of service. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of automotive service equipment, and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee work order management, including the creation, prioritization, and tracking of maintenance requests.
- Critically analyze vendor quotes and negotiate terms to optimize costs while ensuring quality service and materials.
- Manage budgets for maintenance operations, including forecasting expenses and tracking costs to ensure effective use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards throughout all maintenance activities.
- Maintain and source new vendor partners to create a deep bench of support for our stores.
- Provide training and support to operations team o n best practices for equipment use and maintenance.
- Oversee the professional development of the direct reports.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues .
- Supervise internal maintenance team members , ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- T ravel up to 15%
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical degree or industry certification s are a plus.
- 5 years of p roven experience in a maintenance role within the automotive service sector , preferably in a managerial capacity .
- Proficient in using facility management software, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of automotive service facilities, tools, and equipment.
- Management experience.
- Vendor management experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
