Job Summary:
The Warehouse Night Loader is responsible for directing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.
The job will include, but not be limited to:
- Safely operate power material handling equipment to accurately select, palletize, stage and/or load customer orders for delivery of product to customers without damage or errors
- Build displays for special projects
- Must be able to follow directions when stocking, palletizing, shipping, loading and/or unloading of trucks
- Inspect work for accuracy
- Assure all stacks are straight and do not contain an broken boxes
- Ensure all products that should have ice are re-iced prior to loading
- Light assembly of various products
- Meet daily production goals
- Clean work area
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Hight School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to work independently with little supervision in a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to operate various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry pickers, Forklifts, Pallet jacks) to include daily maintenance
- Knowledge of general computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications
- Regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of 30-40 pounds, and climbing of ladders
- Must be able to work night shift
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Physical requirement, nearly all work is performed indoors.
- Job frequently requires handling objects with hands, standing, walking; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
- Perform in environments with temperatures ranging from -22 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Use repetitive motions, using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment
