Line Maintenance Supervisor overview:

 Manage, direct, and supervise all maintenance, including the direct supervision of Line Mx vendor(s), OAL, and seasonal maintenance personnel, at outstations. Prepare reports concerning pertinent aspects of the aircraft maintenance operation to optimize safety, compliance, performance, and financial efficiency. Conduct all maintenance and related tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards and internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines.

Essential roles and responsibilities of a Line Maintenance Supervisor:

• Management, direction, and supervision of all outstation maintenance at outstations where vendors, OAL and seasonal maintenance technicians are utilized.
• Directly supervise vendors, OAL, and seasonal or part time technicians at the outstation
• Management of outstation budgets pertaining to labor, facilities, and equipment.
• Responsible for local hiring and scheduling of vendor and seasonal maintenance staff to ensure flight schedules have adequate maintenance coverage.
• Ability to interpret and administer maintenance vendor contracts.
• Supervise maintenance performed by vendor and seasonal or part time technicians in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.  Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintenance program standards and internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines. 
• Directly perform aircraft maintenance functions as needed.
• Routine travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Working Location: This position is open in Fort Myers, FL

Supervisory Responsibility: 

All regional vendor and/or seasonal Sun Country Staff at assigned station(s)

The qualifications we are looking for in a Line Maintenance Supervisor include:  

• FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant License 
• Previous Maintenance Supervisory experience

Preferred Skills

• Good communication and negotiation skills 
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• The ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to read and decipher contractual agreements.

Work Environment 

A combination of office and maintenance operational environments

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to obtain Station SIDA Badge and customs seal

Must have valid driver’s license and passport
