RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, you will assist the Senior Director with Sun East's social responsibility programs and initiatives including philanthropic giving, employee volunteering, environmental sustainability, government relations, and community and credit union movement relations, and building partnerships throughout the communities we serve while aligned with Sun East's mission, vision, and business plan. Puts the member and fellow employees first - every day - exemplifying Sun East's Mission and Values in all that you do.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required, plus 3-5 years' related experience in Community Relations and Foundation work. Previous non-profit management experience preferred.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
- Prior related experience in community engagement and philanthropic work is preferred.
- Must have experience in developing relationships with local community organizations.
- Event coordination and fundraising experience required.
- Kadince admin experience is a plus
- Must be detail oriented and well organized, with the ability to be flexible and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent public speaking skills and business writing skills, for media publications, required.
- Some travel is required.
- This position occasionally requires attendance at events that take place in the evening and on weekends.
