GENERAL SUMMARY:
This person is to load and unload product using a fork truck into various types of trucks and trailers. They are to fill out any paperwork, check in or out shipments, perform inventory on a monthly basis, calculate and pull case goods. They will also be required to perform forklift inspections daily, work in a safe manner and complete any other duties assigned by management and or team leaders. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Knowing how to read the bill of ladings and load logs
- Loading the proper product.
- Filling all of the paperwork out correctly (this includes matching purchase orders, receiving’s, and placing these papers in the proper boxes).
- Placing all safety devices (wheel chocks, safety chains, loading plates etc.) on the trailers that they are working on.
- Maintain a professional work attitude with the truck drivers that come in the facility and with the office personnel.
- Keep yard clean and organized.
- Drive safely at all times.
- Any other duties assigned.
- Must be able to use time wisely
- Must be able to communicate well both written and verbal.
- Must be safe in all aspects of duties
- Must be a team player.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in field a plus.
- Computer knowledge a plus
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Knowledge of forklift operations.
