The Operations Engineer Co-Op will support various projects within the operations department, depending on timing and stages of implementation. Projects could include analysis of feasibility and payback of new projects, and serving as project lead for existing projects. The successful candidates will work closely with the operations team to ensure project goals are met and contribute to the overall success of the department.

When you join us;
- Assist in the creation of process flow charts, work instructions, and control plans using the company’s Visual Standard work instruction format.
- Support the Continuous Improvement Director or Plant Manager in optimizing plant performance by analyzing data and taking corrective action on the shop floor.
- Assist in troubleshooting plant issues and developing long and short-term solutions utilizing Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
- Utilize the company’s tools for handling process data for analysis and report daily on plant issues.
- Prepare and present summary reports, performance metrics reports, and graphical representations for presentations as required.
- Collect data for analysis to uncover areas for improvements and innovation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in University or College.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills.
- Strong communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish priorities and work effectively in a team.
- Works well independently.
- Primarily Monday through Friday, 30-40 hours per week, day shift.
- May required some travel to manufacturing locations
- May require some work outside of normal working hours to assist in troubleshooting and supporting the site.
