Job Description :
Sun Harbor Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Weekend Laundry Aide to join our team. This position involves managing, tracking, and maintaining resident clothing and linen, ensuring proper organization and safety. As a Laundry Aide , you will be responsible for distributing resident clothing, organizing closets, and maintaining an orderly laundry area while adhering to established safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain control and distribution of resident clothing, ensuring correct labeling and room number.
- Organize resident closets and handle new or used clothing items by completing necessary forms.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Adhere to infection control and universal precautions in all laundry procedures.
- Report safety issues, equipment malfunctions, and supply needs to supervisors.
- Maintain an adequate supply of laundry and linen.
- Assist in lifting heavy equipment and supplies as needed and ensure proper storage of equipment.
