Certified Caregiver (Full-Time)

The Certified Caregiver provides supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services in a safe, friendly, and efficient manner to assisted living residents.

**$1,000.00 sign-on bonus (Full-Time)**

Shift Differential of $2.25 increase in hourly wage from M-F 6pm to 6am & Friday 6pm - Monday 6am**

Some of the main responsibilities:

· Greet all residents and visitors to the facility in a friendly, cheerful and professional manner.

· Maintain a clean personal appearance and wear the approved uniform as required.

· Provide safe non-medical care for residents within the Community.

· Is available to work on a rotating-standby basis for emergency calls.

· Assist other departments as needed.

· Treat company assets and budgets responsibly.

· Work agreed upon schedule with minimal absences in accordance with the attendance policy.

· Perform routine tasks without close supervision.

· Put team success ahead of individual interests; contribute to teamwork by demonstrating a "will-do" attitude by working cooperatively with others, including other departments.

· See what needs to be done and accomplishes it, go beyond the basis requirements, and take an ownership attitude towards the facility.

· Be friendly and helpful with residents and keep a positive spirit and well-groomed personal appearance in representing the facility.

· Know the facility emergency procedures and perform in emergency drills.

· Assist with walking and light exercise.

· Plan and prepare meals, followed by clean-up.

· Monitor food expiration dates, make future meals.

· Make beds and change linens, as needed.

· Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming.

· Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.

· Laundry, ironing, take out garbage.

· Run errands (pickup prescriptions, dry cleaning).

· Engage in physical and mental exercises.

· Provide medication reminders.

· Escort on appointments (hair salon, physical therapy, etc.).

· Maintain calendar and organize mail.

· Engage in activities (games, memory books).

· Provide companionship to the Residents.

• Record daily care notes.
• Report any significant client changes to their immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Maricopa County food handlers card (Preferred)
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Preferred)
• Certified Care Giver Certificate (Required)
