What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Tap Room Manager position at Sun King Brewery?
Purpose: The purpose of this position is to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the tap room with a focus on service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage tap room and part time staff in accordance with company rules and regulations and under the direction of the GM
- Conduct orientation and training of all new hires
- Coach part time staff in performance of daily responsibilities
- Ensure excellent customer service standards
- Enforce all ATC, health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
- Ensure cleanliness, appearance, and organization of the tap room
- Review staffing needs based on current trends, tap room events and historical data and make recommendations to GM
- Create weekly shift schedule for part time employees
- Execute and manage new product releases and on-site events based on direction from GM and Event Coordinator
- Maintain adequate inventory level for all products and supplies
- Ensure proper cash handling and compliance with internal controls established by Accounting department
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent interpersonal communication and public speaking skills
- Strong leadership, management, and problem resolution skills
- Proficient computer and POS knowledge
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills
- Valid ATC server’s permit and forklift certification
- Open availability with concentration on evening/weekend availability
Education/Training/Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
Management experience in restaurant/bar industry
Job Type: Full-time
