Assistant Tap Room Manager

Purpose: The purpose of this position is to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the tap room with a focus on service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage tap room and part time staff in accordance with company rules and regulations and under the direction of the GM
• Conduct orientation and training of all new hires
• Coach part time staff in performance of daily responsibilities
• Ensure excellent customer service standards
• Enforce all ATC, health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
• Ensure cleanliness, appearance, and organization of the tap room
• Review staffing needs based on current trends, tap room events and historical data and make recommendations to GM
• Create weekly shift schedule for part time employees
• Execute and manage new product releases and on-site events based on direction from GM and Event Coordinator
• Maintain adequate inventory level for all products and supplies
• Ensure proper cash handling and compliance with internal controls established by Accounting department
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent interpersonal communication and public speaking skills
• Strong leadership, management, and problem resolution skills
• Proficient computer and POS knowledge
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills
• Valid ATC server’s permit and forklift certification
• Open availability with concentration on evening/weekend availability

Education/Training/Experience:

Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience

Management experience in restaurant/bar industry

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
