Description
JOB TITLE: MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN
REPORTS TO: RADIOLOGY SUPERVISOR
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
Promote and restore patient’s health by performing mammography testing and reporting test results, assuring the quality of operations, and complying with all governing regulations. Provide mammography results to clinic providers in a timely manner. Perform all functions at the level of expertise to which the Mammography Technician has been trained and certified.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Mammographic Radiologic Technology certified
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists and current license from the State of Arizona
