Job Overview: As a key member of the Sun Life Marinas team, the Marina General Manager, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, is tasked with overseeing day-to-day operations at the assigned marina. Responsibilities:
· Operational Leadership:
o Provide strategic leadership and direction for the overall operation of the marina.
o Oversee and manage all marina departments, including boat rentals, maintenance, service, customer service, and administrative functions.
· Team Management:
o Recruit, train, and supervise marina staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
o Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and support for staff development.
· Customer Service Excellence:
o Uphold and enhance customer service standards to ensure a positive and memorable experience for marina patrons.
o Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
· Financial Management:
o Develop and manage the marina budget in collaboration with the Regional Operations Manager.
o Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-effective measures.
