Sun Lodge Server Opportunity
We are seeking a server to join our Food & Beverage team at The Trailhead Restaurant for the Grand Opening. As a server, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service and working closely with management, kitchen staff, and other food and beverage personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take orders accurately and understand menu items and food preparation techniques
- Serve/clear food and drinks, and process payment accurately
- Work collaboratively with restaurant management and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences
Additional Duties:
- Answer questions about menu items and food preparation techniques
- Maintain knowledge of order taking systems and communicate guest orders to the kitchen
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently, following proper table service techniques
- Operate restaurant equipment safely, including coffee makers, refrigeration, and point of sale systems
Requirements:
- Previous food and beverage service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written
- Basic understanding of common food allergies and cross-contamination issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
Working Conditions:
- May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and split-shifts
- Exposure to hazards such as cuts, burns, slips, and tripping
