This is a full-time position is responsible for supporting Master Data Governance (MDG) activities as noted below. This position will also provide some additional support to the broader Supply Chain team as needed. Master Data Governance Coordinator reports to the Manager, Master Data Governance Dept.
Master Data Governance collects, vets and maintains critical Sun-Maid and Plum Organics data used by both internal and external sources. MDG maintains and shares data to meet the needs of those we serve, while ensuring the data integrity needs of Sun-Maid are met.
Primary Responsibilities
The Master Data Governance Coordinator provides the means to manage the following responsibilities:
• Item Master Maintenance – Add, maintain and edit as needed all pertinent information stored in QAD (our ERP) regarding Sun-Maid and Plum Organics portfolio of finished good items. Currently there are 600 active items
• Product Structures – the building blocks of our finished goods that is comprised of all the components & processes that guide production.
• Product Images – build and maintain a library of Sun-Maid and Plum Organics product images across multiple configurations. UPC sell-unit, case & pallet.
• Maintain/manage Sun-Maid item data across several industry related web portals, including 1 WorldSync, GS1US, Syndigo, Nielsen Brandbank and GS1 Canada.
• Maintain/manage Sun-Maid and Plum Organics item data in multiple customer web portals, including Walmart, Albertsons, Kroger, Ahold & Whole Foods to name a few.
• Maintain/manage Sun-Maid item data on several 3rd party web portals, including Repositrak, TraceGains, Sharepoint, Azule, etc.
• Share and manage item data with California WIC
• Maintain/manage files for sharing Audit documents, Organic Certificates, Country of Origin information, Kosher & Halal Certificates, Certificates of Insurance.
• Maintain/manage files of customer specific requests beyond those stated.
• Maintain/manage item specification reports that are shared with Sun-Maid Sales and our Broker network.
• Provide support to Sun-Maid Customer Service (Domestic Retail, Ingredient & Export) as needed.
• Assist with other Supply Chain functions as needed
Requirements
Job Qualifications
• Prior experience working with manufacturing & sales related data is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be fluent in English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills
• Able to work and gather data on the shop floor as needed from time to time
• Works closely with other departmental groups within Sun-Maid - Packaging Engineer, Procurement, Shipping, Marketing, Sales, Finance, & Operations etc.
Education
Minimum AA degree preferred
