**Job Title:** Dietary Aide
We are seeking 2 part-time Dietary Aides to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, with weekend availability required.
The hourly pay rate starts at $18 , depending on experience (DOE). Preference is given to candidates with Skilled Nursing Facility Experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for following department procedures and storing all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly.
They will ensure that all food in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage areas are labeled and dated.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring proper food handling and utilization of all foods to prevent contamination, increase quality, and reduce cost.
- Suggesting menu or recipe changes to utilize leftovers and other supplies.
- Cleaning all food service equipment, kitchen, and food storage areas.
- Maintaining the proper temperature of food during preparation and service.
- Recording food temperatures according to established policy.
The Dietary Aide will assist with setting up the tray line, assembling trays according to the planned menu and tray tickets, and checking trays during service for accuracy.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 months related experience or training.
- Knowledge of special diets.
- Weekend availability.
This is a part-time position with various shifts available.
The starting hourly pay rate is $18.00, DOE.
