Our organization provides post-acute care services, including physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy (ST). We are seeking dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide PT services in accordance with the patient's Plan of Care, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
- Collaborate with PTs to deliver high-quality therapy services, making adjustments as needed based on changes in treatment or patient condition.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
- Ensure timely submission of billing, payroll, and expense documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings and family training sessions to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and safety protocols to safeguard employees and patients.
- Inspect equipment prior to use and report any damage or malfunctions.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or equivalent education.
- Licensure/Certification: Current PTA licensure/certification.
- Experience: 1 year of experience preferred, with 1-2 years in residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facilities being highly desirable. Recent graduates from PTA programs will also be considered.
