Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner who is fluent in both Korean and English to join us. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive healthcare services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Bilingual Communication: Effectively communicate with patients in both Korean and English, including explaining medical conditions, treatments, and procedures.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform clinical procedures, and administration of medications and treatments.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Health Education: Educate patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and wellness strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and institutional guidelines.
- Referral Coordination: Refer patients to appropriate specialists and healthcare services as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensure: Valid and active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia.
- Certification: Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ANP, or equivalent).
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Korean and English (oral and written).
- Experience: Not Required, but experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with experience in primary care or a similar setting is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology platforms, PracticeFusion preferred.
