Salary Range: $16.66
Description
- Welcome guests, present menus, and take orders accurately.
- Recommend food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately, following proper service etiquette.
- Ensure guests have everything they need throughout their meal.
- Handle payment transactions accurately.
- Monitor table turnover and communicate with the host/hostess for seating availability.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down tables.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant or similar establishments.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing.
- Responsible alcohol service certification (if applicable)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Lift and carry trays or items up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in a busy and sometimes high-stress environment.
Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.
