What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Merchandiser / Stocker position at Sun Noodle?
Sun Noodle is a manufacturer of fresh, tailor-made noodles, Importer and wholesaler of ramen soups, sauces, and other products. Currently with 4 factories; Hawaii, California, New Jersey and Europe, Sun Noodle is growing rapidly which creates growth and job opportunities for all of our employees.
The Retail Merchandiser / Stocker is responsible for assisting the Sales Team in merchandising and supporting Sun Noodle products at our retail locations. Sun Noodle Merchandisers are the first point of contact at our retail locations, stocking, rotating and displaying products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using the company vehicle, drives to customer locations to service and merchandise products.
- Set up the shelves in an orderly and presentable manner.
- If shelves are low in stock or empty, bring out back stock from the retail location storage.
- Inform the Sales Manager of any customer or store concerns.
- Sets up products using the FIFO (First In First Out) method of set-up.
- May assist with production demonstrations or events.
- Assists sales in all other duties to support sales of our products.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- No experience necessary, training will be provided
- Valid type 3 driver’s license
- Good driving record with no traffic violations; clean abstract
- Follows and understand state driving regulations, good driving manner
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
- Customer service oriented
- Able to work individually and as a team
- Punctual
- Basic math skills
- Able to speak and understand conversational English
