Warehouse Production Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner with experience in ERP systems to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities, optimizing workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in manufacturing or supply chain management, and the ability to work within an ERP system to streamline production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Scheduling: Plan and schedule production activities based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and available resources, ensuring products are delivered on time.
• System Management: Utilize ERP systems to track and manage production orders, inventory levels, and material requirements.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory of ingredients, packaging, and finished products and ensure timely procurement to prevent production delays. Coordinate with other leads and managers to manage stock levels efficiently.
• Capacity Planning: Evaluate production capacity and adjust schedules to optimize the use of labor, machinery, and materials.
• Order Coordination: Prioritize production orders and align resources with customer requirements and production timelines.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate reports to analyze production performance, inventory status, and resource utilization. Provide actionable insights to management.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and address potential bottlenecks or delays in the production process. Work with cross-functional teams to find solutions to production challenges.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and meet customer delivery deadlines.
• Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to improve production efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall performance using systems, software, tools and other best practices.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards during production processes.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• People oriented and results driven
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify production inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation with cross-functional teams.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with MS Dynamics helpful
• Spanish, Japanese, or other language fluency helpful
