Key Areas of Responsibility:
Clinical Application Physicist- Support Operations- responsibilities:
- Deliver remote and onsite training to customers
- Conducts pre-training preparation and performs administrative activities post-training.
- Provide Tier 2 support to customers, resolve cases, and assist in troubleshooting escalated issues.
- Develop training materials and effectively communicating the training plan to customers.
- The Clinical Application Physicist interfaces with customers to resolve cases, assists in troubleshooting issues, and identifies customer needs to determine internal resources needed for resolution.
- Additionally, the Clinical Application Physicist role at Sun Nuclear/Mirion involves working closely with clinical medical physicists, providing training and support, and gaining clinical experience through partnerships with local clinics
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in medical physics, clinical engineering, or technical related field is preferred
- Travel required up to 70% of work weeks and occasional weekend travel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exemplary communication skills (listening, verbal, written)
- Able to work independently and complete all deliverables on-time
- Enthusiastic learner who is eager to meet challenges and quickly assimilate new concepts
- Adaptable, positive, and open to new ideas and/or situations
- Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative
- Clinical understanding of the processes in a Radiation Oncology Department
- Fluent in English with strong written, verbal communication and listening skills
- Effectively support and work with all levels of the organization
